Save It or Spend It? U.S. Workers and Their Vacation Plans

For the week of December 25:

18% plan to work the entire week
81% of those working expect to be at least somewhat productive
64% of those taking time off will check in with the office

Thirty-five percent of U.S. workers say they won’t use all their time off this year.**

Their reasons:

Cities ranking highest in each category:

Seattle: 61%Saving the time for something later
Chicago: 32%Too much work to do

New Yorkers rank the highest in planning to use all vacation days at 80 percent. Raleigh ranks lowest at 50 percent.
