1. Miami
2. Los Angeles
3. Phoenix
4. New York
5. Dallas, San Diego (tie)

Reasons why employees didn’t negotiate:

55% were happy with the salary offered
18% wanted more money but felt they might lose the offer if they asked
18% wanted more money but were uncomfortable negotiating
9% wanted more money but didn’t know the going rate for their positions

When managers discuss pay with job candidates:

Phone or video interview: 13%
1st in-person interview: 35%
2nd interview: 20%
3rd interview or after: 9%
Once job offer is made: 15%
Salaries are listed in job description: 9%
