Advanced certifications or relevant professional qualifications in insurance law are highly desirable;</li><li>Minimum of 6 years experience practicing law in a similar role. Experience working in the regulated financial services industry, ideally within the insurance industry. Ideally at least two years at a law firm and prior in-house experience;</li><li>Familiarity with Belgian insurance regulations, including IDD, Solvency II, and GDPR;</li><li>Excellent knowledge of legal principles, practices, and industry standards, with the ability to apply them in a practical and business-oriented manner;</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions and practical solutions;</li><li>Strong project management and stakeholder management skills;</li><li>Fluency in English and French or Dutch is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
