The company operates across a variety of sectors, maintaining a strong dedication to technological advancement and operational excellence.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The scope of responsibilities for this job include:</span></p><ul><li>You are the <strong>main point of contact</strong> for infrastructure-related incidents and projects;</li><li>You handle the <strong>installation, configuration</strong>, and upkeep of servers, networks, storage systems, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backups, and IT facility components such as UPS systems, racks, cabling, and cooling infrastructure;</li><li>You oversee daily performance <strong>monitoring of infrastructure</strong>, conduct risk analyses, and implement measures to ensure stability;</li><li>You <strong>develop infrastructure solutions that</strong> comply with enterprise standards while working alongside Automation teams on OT-specific infrastructure needs;</li><li>You collaborate with the HUB-based Senior System Administrator to guarantee high availability, effective disaster recovery, and business continuity;</li><li>You take charge of <strong>infrastructure projects</strong>, including network upgrades, modernizing data centers, and managing hybrid cloud solutions, keeping downtime to a minimum;</li><li>You ensure <strong>documentation</strong> is accurate, maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans, and contribute to compliance efforts, such as adhering to NIS2 regulations;</li><li>You play a key role in long-term IT planning by creating <strong>multi-year roadmaps</strong>, managing budgets, and supporting data center modernization and consolidation initiatives;</li><li>You work in partnership with Cyber Security, SecOps, and business leaders to maintain security protocols, compliance standards, and reliable IT support.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The requested qualifications for this job include:</span></p><ul><li>You hold a bachelor's or master's <strong>degree</strong> in computer science, IT Infrastructure, or equivalent by experience;</li><li>You have a <strong>minimum of 12 years of professional experience</strong> in IT infrastructure management;</li><li>Experience in industrial or OT-heavy environments (chemicals, pharma, manufacturing) is a strong asset;</li><li>You possess <strong>senior-level expertise in Cisco networking</strong>, VMware, enterprise storage, backup systems, and virtualization;</li><li>You have demonstrated proficiency in disaster recovery, high availability, OT infrastructure, and IT facilities such as UPS, racks, and cabling;</li><li>You excel at <strong>independently</strong> <strong>leading</strong> and executing infrastructure projects;</li><li>You <strong>thrive on troubleshooting</strong>, preventive problem-solving, and technical innovation;</li><li>You are comfortable interfacing with technical staff, business managers, and vendors to achieve shared goals;</li><li>Certifications in Cisco, VMware, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent infrastructure expertise are an advantage;</li><li>You are fluent in <strong>Dutch and English</strong>.
