This is a rare opportunity to take a central role in shaping the finance function of a business on the fast track.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role </strong></p><p>As Financial Controller, you will be the operational backbone of the finance function bringing structure, strong controls and commercial clarity to a fast-moving, founder-led business transitioning into a disciplined, PE-backed environment. You'll act as a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders while ensuring financial integrity, compliance and continuous improvement.</p><p><strong><br />Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Leading month-end, year-end and statutory reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness</li><li>Developing and supporting budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts for multiple regions</li><li>Providing value-adding financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making</li><li>Managing and mentoring a small finance team, including performance development and capability uplift</li><li>Strengthening financial controls, systems and processes to minimise risk and improve efficiency</li><li>Supporting pricing reviews, funding acquittals, tenders and business cases</li><li>Building strong relationships with senior operational leaders and internal stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong><br />About you</strong></p><p>You're a confident, commercially minded accountant who enjoys working close to the business and leading others.
