You will take direct responsibility for Financial Reporting & Control across the group whilst partnering with senior leaders across the business.</p><p>You'll also manage a team of 10 including qualified accountants and accounts payable.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Drive change within the finance function, focusing on process design, systems and best practice.</li><li>Financial Reporting: Lead end-to-end financial reporting, including month-end, board reporting and annual consolidated accounts through audit.</li><li>Tax: Oversee all indirect tax compliance and manage external advisers to ensure risk is effectively controlled.</li><li>Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with FP&A to deliver robust budgets, forecasts and insightful variance analysis.</li><li>Payroll & Accounts Payable: Provide leadership and governance oversight across payroll and accounts payable functions.</li><li>Banking & Cashflow: Maintain strong banking controls and lead cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.</li><li>Governance & Controls: Own and continuously strengthen the financial control framework, policies and ERP integrity.</li><li>Leadership: Lead, develop and elevate a high-performing finance team aligned to business objectives.</li></ul><p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p><p>You are a proven Financial Controller with demonstrated experience leading teams, strengthening control environments and operating confidently at board and executive level.</p><p>You have delivered change, not just maintained process.</p><p>You combine technical strength with commercial judgement and are ready to step into an environment that will stretch you toward CFO-level capability.</p><p>You must demonstrate:</p><ul><li>CA / CPA fully qualified</li><li>Proven tenure as a Financial Controller within a structured finance environment</li><li>Demonstrated experience strengthening financial controls and governance frameworks</li><li>Successful delivery of system or process transformation initiatives</li><li>Confidence operating at Board and Audit & Risk Committee level</li><li>Track record of building, mentoring and elevating finance teams</li><li>Strong commercial judgement with the ability to influence senior stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Interview process:</strong></p><p>First stage will be Thursday 12th in the CBD with second stage early w/c 16th and offer out by the 20th.</p><p><strong>Apply Today</strong></p><p>Submit your CV directly via email to Stewart Selwood on [email protected] or by pressing the Apply button.</p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
